Our Mission
Learn. Create. Connect. Collaborate.

The Feliciano Center for Entrepreneurship creates opportunities to learn, create, design, connect and collaborate. Our curricula provide a rich, real-life entrepreneurial experience to students; and our rich ecosystem of talent helps us blur the line of where the campus ends and the entrepreneurial community begins by exposing students to mentors and other advisors who are entrepreneurs. Innovation is central in all we do, including in our MIX Lab, which provides tools for 3D printing, designing and making with the aim of transforming our students’ mindsets, and lives.

Academics
Go beyond the books

Our curriculum is founded on the core principle that problem-solving and creativity — and the ability to shape your creative ideas into successful opportunities — is the key to success in any field. Our classes are experiential and hands on, and teach students real-world skills to succeed in any career. Our students are budding actors, designers, teachers, scientists, inventors and accountants — anyone can be an entrepreneur, which is why our ENTR courses are open to any student of any major.

Programs
Printing and Pitching and Empowerment

Our center places a premium on innovation design and creative problem-solving. This philosophy is infused in everything we do, but is perhaps demonstrated best in our 3D printing and digitally mediated making initiatives through our MIX Lab.

The BulbHead.com Bright Ideas Inventors Day for Aspiring Entrepreneurs is held each year in May, with a $10,000 prize to the winning team. Any student enrolled at Montclair State is eligible to pitch in the contest.

Women Entrepreneurship Week is celebrated each October on campus, and around the world, to inspire and motivate female founders and women leaders.
