Exchange Programs

The Feliciano School of Business partners with universities across the globe to give you the chance to study abroad while staying on track with your business degree. For most students, an exchange program is the most affordable way to go abroad.

How It Works

  • Tuition & Aid: You will pay your regular Montclair tuition, and all your federal/state aid can apply.
  • Length: Study abroad for one semester or a full academic year and receive school credit.
  • Eligibility: Exchange Programs are open to sophomores, juniors, and seniors (fall only for seniors).
  • Apply: Application is required, and if selected, you’ll be officially nominated for the program.
  • Support: Montclair and your host school guide you every step of the way.
  • Funding: You are eligible for scholarships such as Montclair’s SOAR scholarship, which offers up to $3,000 for students with demonstrated financial need, and/or the Student Opportunity Fund, which provides a one-time grant of $1,500, as well as additional scholarship opportunities.

How to Get Started:

  1. Explore Feliciano’s program options
  2. Have an initial meeting with Feliciano Global Advisor Nova Pierre Louis
  3. Submit an application form to become a registered study-abroad student
  4. Become nominated for the program of your choice
  5. Fill out post-decision tasks and work on your course list
  6. Work with your host university to get ready to go abroad!

Important Note:

You are also able to access any “affiliated” programs that are not direct exchange partnerships. These programs offer a wide range of study-abroad opportunities and have group experiences. While these organizations offer more options, they are more expensive than a direct exchange because you can only use your federal financial aid for them and NOT your state and institutional aid.
