Chief Risk Officer – United Nations Federal Credit Union (UNFCU)

In this role she is responsible for overseeing enterprise-wide risk management for the credit Union.

Keisha is a financial services executive with over 20 years of audit, finance, and risk management experience with a wide range of financial services entities, including commercial, regional and community banks, specialized leasing entities, as well as brokers and dealers. Keisha was an audit Partner with KPMG, where she began her career after completing her undergraduate degree at Montclair State University. She has more than 19 years of financial services audit experience, covering areas such as financial statements audits, internal controls, risk assessments, SEC and capital market reporting, regulatory compliance, and governance and due diligence. At KPMG, Keisha focused on the external audits of financial institutions in New Jersey and New York.

While at KPMG, Keisha did a 3 year rotation in KPMG’s Department of Professional Practice, where she established positive relationships with professionals at all levels across the firm. Understanding the importance of a support system in the workplace, Keisha served as a mentor to a number of colleagues, leading her local office’s KPMG Network of Women as well as the African Ancestry Business Resource Group.

After KPMG, Keisha transitioned into a new phase of her career, focusing on enterprise-wide risk management at Signature Bank and currently at UNFCU. In her current role she is responsible for providing overall leadership and vision for enterprise risk management, including establishing integrated risk management across separate business units in the organization. Keisha also serves as the executive sponsor for the Black Business Resource Group at UNFCU.
