Have you always wanted to go abroad but you’re nervous about committing to an entire semester or year in a different country? Then a faculty-led program may be perfect for you! These programs are short-term and are led by a faculty member focusing on a business-related theme. There are two types of faculty-led programs: spring break programs which are 7-10 days of travel as a component of a full spring semester course or summer programs, which are 2-8 weeks in length with several course options.

Here are examples of faculty-led courses that are being offered in 2024:

• Montclair in Scotland, Global Business Skills of Golf (Summer 2024)
• Montclair in Austria, Transatlantic Entrepreneurship Academy (Spring 2024)

Funding opportunities: the International Academic Initiative office at Montclair State University: Students with Pell Grants are eligible to apply for Gilman Scholarships ranging from $500 to sometimes $2000 for Faculty-Led Programs. Students with demonstrated financial need as measured by FAFSA, PELL, TAG, etc., are invited to apply for a SOAR Scholarship for up to $1500.
