Welcome to Montclair State University and the College for Community Health!
The College for Community Health (CCHL) Student Success Center is here to help as you transition to the University.
We encourage you to complete the steps listed on the Freshman Student Checklist and start using your @ montclair.edu email address, as that is where official university communications will be sent.
Your schedule of fall classes will be available by CCHL’s Orientation at the end of June. Our office works in conjunction with your major department to build a schedule that includes both required coursework for your major, as well as coursework that completes general education requirements. The schedule is built so that your classes are with other first-year students within your major or college, as we find students do better when they take courses together. Please note that there are very few extenuating circumstances in which we would be able to adjust a student’s schedule for the first semester.
