Fawzia Afzal-Khan, is honored to be in a post-show conversation with India’s leading progressive playwright and theatre director, Abhishek Majumdar, who is current Program Head of Theatre at NYU in Abu Dhabi. His latest play, 9 Kinds of Silence, is having its US premiere at Playco Theatre Company in NYC.

Fawzia Afzal-Khan is a schol-art-ivist, engaging her scholarship and performance work in the service of social justice ideals. She is Professor of English, a University Distinguished Scholar, and former Director of the Women and Gender Studies Program at Montclair State University, NJ.
