70’s

  • Elisa Camillone ’78, was a graduate assistant at Trenton State and received her Masters in Education in 1979. She has been the certified athletic trainer and Assistant AD at Mercer County Community College in Trenton NJ for 19 years!

80’s

  • Carl Hensel ’84, teaches ar High Point Regional HS while working on his master’s degree at Montclair State. He does some per diem ATC work. He and wife, Gail, have two children.
  • Jolene Piazza ’86, is living in Florida and attending PA school after 10 years as an ATC.
  • Lee Day, PT, ARC, ’87, is a regional VP for HealthSouth and lives in Connecticut with wife Diana and three children.
  • Christine Foss ’87, is a chiropractor working in Riverdale with her husband. They live in Lake Hiawatha with their three children.
  • Peri (Carlin) Krichbaum ’87, is presently the Director of Athletic Training education at Salem International University in West Virginia. She currently has her hands full as the program is seeking accreditation.
  • Cindy Dormann ’88, is currently the assistant athletic trainer at Montclair State University. She lives in New York, is an active EMT and member of the ski patrol.
  • Cindy Miller ’88, is currently a Student Assistance Counselor and Head Athletic Trainer at Manchester Regional HS in Haledon, NJ. She lives in Totowa and is very involved in NJ Special Olympics.
  • JoMarie Cumberland-Holzhammer ’89, teaches at Ewing HS and has two children.
  • Caryn (Hefter) Jaquish ’89, received her MPH from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. She is currently a stay at home mom for David and Adam.

90’s

  • Tom Cutalo ’90, was married on 24 June 2001. He and Josephine live in Bloomfield.
  • Melissa Kollar ’90, is living in Wycoff and still recovering from a serious car accident two years ago. She is taking classes in preparation for medical school.
  • Christine Emrich ’91, is the Head Athletic Trainer at Red Bank Regional H.S. in Little Silver, NJ. She has held that position for the past seven years. Last year Christina was elected to the executive council of the ATSNJ, Inc as the Central Region Representative. She resides in Tinton Falls, NJ with her rottweiler “Oscar”.
  • Vin Gublin ’92, married Lisa last summer and bought a house in Clark. He is leaving Rahway HS in August 2002 for a middle school teaching and coaching position in Berkley Heights.
  • Henry Minarick ’92, lives in Lawrenceville and is the first assistant ATC at Rider University.
  • Gary Borges ’93, is married and living in Saddlebrook with his wife. He works at Tenafly HS.
  • Scott Credidio ’93, is teaching in Wharton, and is the ATC at Dover HS. He is married and lives in Rockaway.
  • Mike Bronstein ’94, lives in Old Bridge with his wife Rachel while working at Highland Park HS.
  • Sheila Corrigan Zeman ’94, Head of Sports Medicine at James Caldwell High School for seven years. She left that position for an elementary PE position. Sheila and Eric have been married since the summer of 2000 and live in West Orange. She sends greetings to all.
  • Marc Camporeale ’95, is the ATC at Wayne Valley HS. He lives in Pompton Lakes with wife Eileen and one year old Tyler.
  • Lisa Kowalski Kircher ’95, is working at Jefferson HS, coaches track, and does some part-time work as an ATC. She and husband Glenn live on Lake Hopatcong.
  • Joe Porcello ’95, has been a horticulturalist and a golf course agronomist before completing the internship program at Montclair State in 1995. He is the head athletic trainer at Cedar Grove HS. He is still single and proudly resides in a 20’s era home in Belleville. He hopes his fellow alumni are enjoying athletic training as much as he is.
  • Bill Reger ’95 is a Senior Athletic Trainer at Columbia University in NYC, now finishing his seventh year there. He obtained his master’s in Applied Physiology from Columbia in 1997. He has been married to Marie for four years and lives in Rockland County. 
  • Hector Rivera ’95, still runs competitively and teaches at Passaic. He lives in Passaic Park with his wife and child.
  • Barry Camhi ’96, is with HealthSouth and is the Head Athletic Trainer at Secaucus High School. He also works part-time with the New Jersey Gladiators of the Arena Football League. He is also president of the Jersey Shore chapter of the Joe Porcello Fan Club. Barry and his four year old son/dog Bones reside in Ocean, NJ.
  • Mark Arnold ’97, is working for Merck Pharmaceuticals in Seattle, WA.
  • Robin Berrios Enderle ’97 is teaching at N. Plainfield HS and works per diem as an ATC. She and husband Marc (married last year) live in Union and were expecting their first child in October of 2002.
  • Ben Burton, PT, ATC, CSCS, ’97, opened his own PT practice in Riverdale and recently moved into a new apartment in Bogata.
  • Nick Ciccarelli ’98, is teaching PE in Mendham, living in Little Falls, and is engaged to Gina.
  • Sven Lilienthal ’98, is an assistant ATC at FDU Teaneck.
  • Chris Marukiewicz ’98, is teaching in Mendham with Nick Ciccarelli and continues to be the ultimate Parrothead.
  • Rob Nixon ’98, resigned as the ATC at Cranford. He continues to teach PE and lives in West Paterson.
  • Portia Resnick ’98, came to Montclair State University in 1996 from Penn State where she earned a BS in Exercise Science. She was a graduate assistant at Montclair State from 1996 – 98 and graduated with an MA in Counseling in Higher Education. Portia currently is the Assistant Athletic Trainer at American University in Washington DC.
  • Marty Visitacion ’98, lives in Springfield and is a teacher in Mountainside. He is also a swim coach in Caldwell.
  • Lori Liegl ’99, received her master’s degree in Exercise Science in 1999 from Montclair State. Currently working at UCLA covering women’s cross country, women’s basketball and the NCAA #1 ranked team in the nation, women’s water polo! She lives in Hermosa Beach, CA and loves it.
  • Elaine Winslow Redmond ’99, lives in Buchanan, NY. She works for the Radio City Rockettes as a line dancer and an ATC.

00’s

  • Jesse Biggins ’00, is working at Bergenfield HS and is finishing his master’s thesis.
  • Chris Jones ’00, purchased a condo in Caldwell and is working at SportsCare PT in Montville. He is working on his doctorate in PT at Seaton Hall.
  • Mike Curran ’01, is currently seeking his masters in Health Sciences/ Sports Medicine at Springfield College in Springfield, MA. He is working part-time in the Western New England College athletic training room, and living in Milford, M.A.
  • Amanda Myers ’01, is the ATC at Raritan HS and is living in Sea Bright.
  • Jamie Spargo Scala ’01, is teaching middle school PE in Montclair. She is married to the SID at Montclair State, Mike Scala.
  • Tara Wisz ’01, is teaching PE in Morris Plains. She experienced her first Jimmy Buffet concert with Chris Mazurkiewicz in June of 2002.
