ID Cards Guidelines

All photos must be uploaded through the eAccounts website. Log in with your NetID and click “Profile.” Photos will not be taken in office. Please review the guidelines in eAccounts on submitting a good photo. Follow the same guidelines as you would for a driver’s license, state ID, or passport photo to increase the chances of the photo being approved. Smiles are encouraged!

New and Returning Students:

Please bring two forms of identification (one must be a photo ID) to have your identity confirmed.

If you are a resident student and need to quarantine upon arrival to campus: Please email cardservices@montclair.edu Two business days prior to your Move in Date with the requested information below in order to have your ID card processed.

If you are a resident student moving into housing outside of ID Card Office business days\hours, please email cardservices@montclair.edu no later than two business days prior to your move in date with:

  • Name
  • CWID
  • Residence Hall Name
  • Date and time of move in
  • Your ID card will be printed and sent to your residence hall for pick up at check in. Your photo must be submitted and approved in eAccounts prior to your email request. Please remember to bring two forms of identification – one form must be a photo ID.

All Students Who Are Required To Self-Quarantine Upon Arrival To Campus

If you must self-quarantine upon arrival to campus and do not have an ID card at residence hall check in, please email cardservices@montclair.edu with the following:

  • Name
  • CWID #
  • Move-in Date
  • Residence Hall name

Your ID card will be processed on business days\hours and sent to your residence hall to be distributed to you by Residence Life staff. You must have received a “Photo Approved” email from eAccounts prior to requesting this service.

Commuter Students

Commuter students can process their ID card once they return to campus for classes. All photos will need to be uploaded to the eAccounts website prior to processing your ID card at the office.
ID cards can only be picked up in person on campus and cannot be mailed, as your identity needs to be confirmed at the time of processing.
Please remember to bring two forms of identification with you. One form of ID must be a photo ID. Pictures of IDs will not be accepted.
