Important April and May 2013 Dates

April 2, 2013- Withdrawal deadline no refund/adjustment. Final day for students to withdraw from full term Spring 2013 semester course(s) resulting in a grade of WD and no refund/adjustment of tuition. No course withdrawal permitted after this date

April 8, 2013 - Registration for Fall 2013 begins (additional registration dates will be offered)

Mid April 2013 - Summer 2013 student bills available for viewing on WESS Account Summary

April 24, 2013 - President's Address to the University Community (3:00 p.m.)

May 7, 2013 - Classes End (Sunday, May 5th for Friday evening and weekend classes)

May 8, 2013 - Reading Day

May 9 to May 15, 2013 - Spring 2013 Semester Examination Period

May 13, 2013 - Payment for summer 2013 due in the Office of Student Accounts in College Hall Room 216

May 15, 2013 - End of Semester

May 16, 2013 - Residence Halls close 11:00 am (Except the Village for those students remaining for summer housing) (Lunch is the last meal served).

May 16, 2013 - Spring 2013 grades available through WESS

May 24, 2013 - Commencement (IZOD Center, Meadowlands Sports Complex)

May 27, 2013 - Memorial Day Holiday (No Classes)

May 2013 Convocations - Location: Sprague Field

Unlike the May 24 Commencement exercises, seating may be limited for some of the Convocations, and tickets are required for the Convocations. (Rain Date - Wednesday, May 22, 2013)

College of Science and Mathematics (CSAM): Sunday, May 19, 2013 at 7:00 pm
College of Education and Human Services (CEHS): Monday, May 20, 2013 at 2:00 pm
Graduate School: Monday, May 20, 2013 at 7:00 pm
School of Business: Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at 2:00 pm
College of the Arts (CART): Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at 7:00 pm

Important Withdrawal information
If you have a hold on your record, you must submit your withdrawal in writing by the deadline - It cannot be submitted on WESS.  Notification to the instructor or failure to make payment of tuition does not constitute an official withdrawal from the University or withdrawal from individual courses. Should you decide not to attend any or all of your courses, you must withdraw by the established deadlines. Withdrawals may be submitted online via WESS or in writing. Consult the Registration/Schedule of Courses Book for withdrawal procedures and deadlines.
