Alumna Elizabeth Nossier named Leader in Dietetics Field

Elizabeth Nossier, Registered Dietitian Nutritionist was named the New Jersey Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Emerging Dietetic Leader of 2018. Nossier earned her Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition and Food Science with a concentration in Dietetics and is an adjunct in the Department of Nutrition and Food Studies. She is the Clinical Nutrition Manager at Clara Maass Medical Center in Belleville and is past president of the NJ Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and delegate to NJAND to the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.

She specializes in Clinical Nutrition Management, Weight Management, Bariatrics, Diabetes, Community Health and Nutrition Education in northern New Jersey. Nossier contributes to New Jersey's health by participating in numerous community health events, in-services and seminars as part of the NJAND and as an employee of the RWJBarnabas Health System. From a young age, she knew she wanted to help people live a healthier lifestyle, having witnessed her own family struggling with health-related issues. Her proudest moments are when patients share the positive and significant impact her guidance has had on their lives.
