Oh, SNAP! How Congress Stumbles on Farm and Food Policy

Food and agriculture policy is one of the most divisive issues in Congress – but not necessarily between Democrats and Republicans. It’s about where you’re from, and it’s about a lot more than farming. In fact, the biggest part of the U.S. agriculture policy isn’t about farmers at all – it’s about food stamps the help low-income families buy food.
