Announcing the Second Annual Red Hawk Recognition Day

Dear Red Hawk Community,

Over the past year, Montclair has continued to build momentum, growing in strength, reach and impact. What makes that progress meaningful is not just what we achieve, but how we achieve it: through the dedication, creativity and collaboration of our people.

It is in that spirit that I am pleased to announce this year’s Presidential Excellence Award winners and urge you to participate in our second annual Red Hawk Recognition Day on June 10.

What began last year as a new tradition is quickly becoming an important moment for our University to come together and recognize the individuals whose work sustains and advances our mission.

Throughout the day, we will celebrate excellence across our community, including the Milestone Celebration hosted by Human Resources and the Presidential Excellence Awards. I encourage you to visit the Office of the President website to view this year’s Excellence Award recipients and learn more about their contributions.

We will also gather for an Employee Mixer hosted by the Office of Inclusive Excellence, “Meet me at Recess” from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. at locations across campus. This event offers a chance to connect with one another through activities taught by fellow community members. I hope you will take part.

This celebration speaks to the ways in which your work shapes the trajectory of our institution and the lives of our students.

Red Hawk Recognition Day is an opportunity to pause, reflect and recognize those contributions.
