Analytics Career Executives Share Industry Expertise

On September 28th, the Feliciano School of Business hosted an event titled “Launch Your Analytics Career.” The event provided attendees with a unique opportunity to gain valuable insights into the realm of analytics, learn from industry leaders, and network with both seasoned professionals and fellow students. During the event, prominent business leaders shared their career journeys and underscored the critical role of analytics in their respective business functions. Among the attendees were Montclair State University alumni, graduate students, prospective students, faculty, staff, and advisory board members.
The distinguished panelists offered invaluable advice for those seeking to embark on a successful career in the dynamic world of analytics. Following the panel discussion, attendees had the chance to participate in a networking session that included representatives from various companies, Feliciano faculty and staff, students, and alumni.
The roster of esteemed speakers featured Shawn Cicoria, Principal Software Engineer at Microsoft; Rangan Gangavaram, Data Science Director at Verizon; Antonio Ivanovski ’18, Senior Data Analyst at Google; Jeff Kattas, Senior Data Scientist at Iff; Eric Mackaluso, VP of HR Analytics at ADP; Hetal Mistry ’18, Manager Engineering Lead at Veola; and Emily Ng ’20, Senior Business Analyst at Prudential.
The Feliciano School of Business at Montclair State University offers STEM-designated master’s degree programs in Business Analytics, Digital Marketing Analytics, and Human Resources Analytics. These programs are designed to prepare students for careers in the data-driven world of modern business. They can be pursued either on a full-time blended (on-campus) basis or entirely online, with the flexibility to complete them in as little as 16-20 months.
