Recent GSWS Graduate, Anne Marie Venezia ’21, Publishes Essay in Education Journal

The Educational Forum, published Anne Marie Venezia’s essay Alternative Education and Wholehearted Teaching: Revolutionizing How We Learn and Love, which she started in our spring 2020 senior seminar class. In the essay, Venezia describes her journey through a nonnormative education where she discovered the concept of wholehearted teaching and learning.

A recent graduate from the GSWS program, Venezia received her B.A. from Montclair State University in January 2021 with a double major in English and Gender, Sexuality, & Women’s Studies and a minor in LGBTQ+ Studies. In addition to her writing, she is pursuing work in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
