Autism Awareness Event

Posted in: Events

“Autism Awareness” Counter-Programming: Raising awareness not of “signs” or “symptoms” of autism, nor of “treatments” or “interventions” for sale on the market. Rather, raising public awareness of systematic and institutionalized forms of discrimination against and oppression of autistic people: restraints and seclusion in schools, widespread unquestioned use of ABA, and the industrial-scale commodification of autistic people.

Date: Thursday, April 7, 2022

Time: 5:30-7:00pm
