Application Deadlines

  • Apply as early as possible.
  • Some programs have specific deadlines.

Completed applications begin the review process soon after they are received.  The majority of graduate level programs operate under rolling admissions. However, the Office of Graduate Admissions and Support Services recommends allowing 3-6 weeks for all admissions decision at the graduate level.  For those programs without a specific deadline, the Office of Graduate Admissions & Support Services recommends that students submit their credentials as early as possible. Registration begins several months before the term, some courses may have closed and late applicants are less likely to get the courses they need if they do not apply as early as possible. The programs that do have deadlines are listed below.

International application deadlines

Applications from students without U.S. degrees and/or who are neither U.S. citizens nor permanent residents who need Student (F-1) Visas, must be received and completed by

  • June 1 for the Fall
  • November 1 for the Spring

If the program to which you are applying has an application deadline that is earlier than the international deadline, the earlier program deadline would take precedence.
