The Department of Psychology offers a number of graduate assistantship positions to qualifying students. They are highly competitive positions that cover graduate tuition and offer a stipend in exchange for work conducted in the department with faculty.
Such an opportunity is valuable in that it allows hands-on participation in research with faculty to gain a better understanding of psychological research which is a marketable skill when applying to doctoral programs. Many of our graduate assistants have had the fortune of presenting at reputable conferences such at APA and EPA, and have even garnered attention as co-authors on published research in academic journals.
If you are interested in being considered for a GA position, please be sure to make note of that on your graduate application. For further details, please visit the The Graduate School or call 973-655-5147.
