Assistantships

The Psychology Department offers a number of graduate assistantship (GA) positions to qualified students. These are highly competitive positions that provide full tuition remission and a stipend in exchange for work conducted with department faculty.

A GA position provides students with valuable opportunities to assist faculty in their research and develop skills in psychological research, which can be important when applying to doctoral programs. Many of our graduate assistants present at academic conferences, such at APA and EPA, and have opportunities to co-author articles published in academic journals.

If you are interested in being considered for a GA position, please be sure indicate this when completing your application for your selected graduate program. For further details, please visit The Graduate School or call 973-655-5147.
