Fall 2015 Workshop Series

The Center for Writing Excellence will provide a series of workshops throughout the fall semester.  The same workshop will be offered twice each week, with topics changing weekly.  Workshops are free and all are welcome to attend.
Bring your own writing to get the most out of the workshops!  Workshops take place in BOHN HALL room 494 (CWE Seminar room).

Job Seekers: Open Editing Workshop
10/21 Wednesday 2:30 p.m.  &  10/22 Thursday 6:00 p.m.
Drop-in with your cover letter, resume, thank you letter or other application writing and meet with a writing consultant.

Creative Writing: Halloween Poetry
10/28 Wednesday 2:30 p.m.  &  10/29 Thursday 5:00 p.m.
Celebrate Halloween by reading and writing some spooky themed poetry with this cavity-free activity.  Costumes optional.

Proofreading & Polishing
11/4 Wednesday 2:30 p.m.   &   11/5 Thursday 4:00 p.m.
A well-edited final draft means the difference between a good paper and a great paper.  Learn how to polish, proofread, and edit your own work so you can hand in great final papers and writing projects.
