Safe Space Program

For the safety of our staff, we will only be facilitating workshops virtually. Therefore, Safe Space Training is not available during this time. To supplement the information provided in Safe Space Training, we have LGBTQ 101 and Trans 101 recorded on Canvas and available to be requested through our Request a Workshop form. Workshop requests must be submitted four weeks prior to the requested date.

Our Safe Space Training is an intensive, interactive training that provides attendees with information and tools to combat homophobia, biphobia, transphobia, cissexism and heterosexism, on campus and beyond. Through interactive activities and discussion, participants will personally reflect on their own experiences to enhance their personal and professional development, provide further education, and finally, identify ways to create change on campus and beyond.
