Cassandra Calle – Convocation Speaker and Award Recipient

Congratulations to Cassandra Calle, our student speaker for the Social Sciences Convocation ceremony on Sunday, May 22.

Calle is graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and minors in Religion, Anthropology, and Latin American and Latino studies. A dedicated student, Calle earned a 3.95 GPA and served as a senior advisor for the Multicultural Psychology Scholars, having previously served as president. She is a member of PsiChi and the Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society.

This year, Calle conducted research with Mark Clatterbuck on “Latin American Approaches to Health and Healing,” presenting her research at the Student Research Symposium where she received the outstanding undergraduate presentation award.

Going forward, Calle plans to pursue her PhD in Psychology.
