The Department, with support from the College, celebrated Darwin’s Birthday with outstanding student research presentations and a lecture from Nobel Prize winning Geneticist, Dr. Eric Wieschaus, Princeton University. The event was supported by generous funding from Madelon Wehner, an alum of the University. These funds support independent student research scholarships and this Symposium, providing a platform for interaction with recognized scholars in the field of Biology.
