The proposal developed by Dr. Aardema and Domenica will examine environmental correlates with mosquito density and West Nile infection in humans in Monmouth County.

The scholarship, awarding $4000 to one recipient annually, was established to honor the contributions of the late Daniel M. Jobbins to the sciences of mosquito research and control and his service to mosquito control agencies in New Jersey; and to promote and recognize the mosquito research of graduate students attending a college/university anywhere in the United States.
