Ratings for NAEYC-accredited programs

To initiate an Official rating:

• Complete the Star Rating Readiness Checklist for NAEYC-accredited Programs NAEYC-accredited Head Start programs should submit for rating once Head Start ratings become available. Check back soon for more information.
• Upload Checklist to NJCCIS with NAEYC accreditation certificate and reports, and required documentation.
• Complete “File for Rating” in the Grow NJ Kids dashboard of NJCCIS and email  Grow NJ Kids Rating to notify submission is ready for review.

• Complete the Streamlined Re-rating Readiness Checklist for NAEYC-accredited Programs.

NAEYC-accredited Head Start programs should submit for rating once Head Start ratings become available. Check back soon for more information.

• Upload Checklist to NJCCIS with NAEYC accreditation documentation received since previous Star Rating, training records for staff, and, if seeking a higher Star Rating, any new standards evidence.
• Complete “File for Rating” in the Grow NJ Kids dashboard of NJCCIS and email Grow NJ Kids Rating to notify submission is ready for review.

• NAEYC-accredited programs who have received a Provisional Rating have 6 months from the date of in-person observations resuming on March 8, 2023 to request an observation using the Provisional-rated Programs Observation Request Form.
