Bias Education

Bias Education is available through the Office of Student Belonging. Training is available regarding intolerance and bias to support understanding of difference and respect for all. Creating and sustaining an inclusive student community that supports the diversity of perspectives and experiences is important.

Report an Incident

Students who have witnessed or have been a target of a hate or bias motivated act/incident on campus or while participating in a University-sponsored activity should report it promptly.

Please Note: All reports will be evaluated for violations of university policy and criminal law. This form is NOT a police report; if you are in immediate danger, call University Police at 973-655-5222.

There are Three Ways to Report an Incident

  1. Complete the online form.
  2. In the case of a physical confrontation or injury resulting from a bias-related incident, contact University Police immediately at 973-655-5222.
  3. For all other bias-related incidents, call the Dean of Students Office and/or the Office of Residence Life at 973-655-4118. The matter may be referred to University Police.

Office of Global Engagement (OGE)

Provides resource services to all incoming and current students with their application and immigration process and supports students through international student orientation, employment workshops, weekly conversation groups, and cultural and social activities.

Provides support and services to over 60 on-campus student run organizations offering opportunities for students to connect and explore new interests in the areas of public service, culture, arts, hobbies, sports and Greek life.

Did You Know?

We have helpful resources on multicultural awareness, videos, magazines, and resource guides. Many of these items can be borrowed to help develop your individual programs and events. In addition, we have an in-house library with literature focused on diversity and tolerance.
