Earth and Environmental Science majors study in the natural geologic laboratory of the Rockies

The Middle States American Association of Geographers held their regional meeting, where multiple student posters were recognized.

Junkui Cui, working with Dr. Yang Deng, was awarded the Tracey G. Liberi Drinking Water Careers Scholarship for his work with ferrate(VI).

This flexible minor allows students in any major on campus to expand their education and make their resume stand out to potential employers.

Michael Murphy was accepted and attended this year’s expedition exploring New Zealand learning about the pacific rim, learning about local geology in Auckland, and working with scientists studying ocean cores.
