Although the physical Sprague Library is currently closed, we are always here to help your students! Faculty and instructors can make alternative arrangements for your class to get help with library research online.

You can request a live or recorded Zoom presentation for your class, where we can screenshare how to do library research online and do a Q&A with your students. If you want to schedule librarian-led instruction over Zoom, complete the “Your Classroom/Online Library Instruction Request Form” linked on the Library Instruction and Workshops webpage.

It’s possible to add a librarian to your Canvas course to help your students with any questions. Chat/email us and we can decide which librarian is the best match.  Once you’ve connected with your librarian, head to Canvas and click on People, then “add person”, and type in the librarian’s email address (@mail.montclair). Select the “librarian” role from the drop-down list and you’re done! Check out our Canvas and Library Integration guide for more information about integrating library resources into your Canvas course.

We can also customize an online course research guide with content specific to your course assignments. Take a look at existing subject and course guides and if you don’t see what you need, chat/email us to discuss creating a new one.
