Library Resources Tab in all Canvas Courses

The Sprague Library’s LibApps Committee has been working with departments, individual Faculty and ITDS (Instructional Technology and Design Services) to add a Library Resources tab to the navigation menu in all Canvas courses. (Click here for examples of the Library Resources tab.) At this time it has been added to nearly one third of the courses currently taught at Montclair State. After consulting with the AITC, the leadership of the University Senate and the Provost, we have gotten permission to expand this to every course at the university.

The launch of the Library Resources tab has been scheduled for the weekend of May 21st.

If the course instructor would like a custom guide or new content added to the guide embedded in a course, please reach out to us through the Ask a Librarian form. Our Reference Librarians will put you in touch with library’s LibApps Committee and we’ll coordinate the effort to accommodate your needs. If an instructor wants to turn this feature off in a Canvas course, they can.
