How Can Research and Reference Librarians Help Me?

Posted in: Homepage Features

Reference and research help desk

Our librarians are here to help! The Reference Desk on the first floor of the Sprague Library is here specifically to help you with your research. In other words, if you have an assignment or coursework that requires you to find sources, talk to us. Research and Reference Librarians are available (see our hours) if you have a question about how to start researching, using academic databases, finding journals/full-text, or simply finding out what collections are available at the library. Feel free to stop by any time.

Need virtual help? Be sure to check out our Ask a Librarian service. You can text, call, chat or e-mail with a librarian for one-on-one help. You can also search the FAQ to see if your question has already been answered, or see what other people are asking.

Need more in-depth help? Book a research appointment to discuss your project face to face or select an online appointment if you can’t make it to the library in person.
