On Monday, December 6 at 6pm (via Zoom),  J. Samuel Walker (former Historian of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission) describes the series of events that led to one of the most devastating terrorist attacks to have taken place in this country targeting the World Trade Center, Pentagon, and White House on September 11, 2001.  Walker will also discuss the fear that al Qaeda would obtain weapons of mass destruction, bin Laden’s statements about Hiroshima, and President Bush’s fear that Saddam Hussein would turn over weapons of mass destruction to terrorists.
