On January 27th, students from the Fall ’24 Honors Seminar “How to Cook a Raccoon: The Memory Work of New Jersey Recipe Collections” reunited over food and drink in the lobby at Sprague Library. The students and their professor, Dr. Steffi Dippold of the English department, celebrated the culmination of their semester-long engagement with historical cookbooks and local recipe collections by the library exhibit featuring their projects. Their work explores the ways in which history, culture, and identity shape our present-day experiences of food and fellowship. The exhibit, “What’s Cooking at Sprague Library,” can be viewed through February 2nd.
