Montclair State University Graduate Students are Making a Difference in Communities While Completing Their Externships as AmeriCorps Members

Speech-language pathology (SLP) graduate students at Montclair State University (MSU) have a new and unique opportunity to provide direct service to the community while completing their graduate education through an exciting new partnership between the SLP program at Montclair State University (MSU) and the AmeriCorps program called the New Jersey COVID Service Corps (NJCSC)!This program puts students in settings where they can offer support to individuals and families impacted by the pandemic. It also helps students frame how the unique skills and expertise they are gaining through their education positions them to make a positive
difference in the community.
