We are pleased to announce that Sprague Library has resumed access to our stacks for all library users. This change brings with it important modifications to our services for accessing our print collections, so please be aware of the following items:

  • You are now able to access print materials as you did previously, including placing holds within the library catalog for pickup at your convenience. As library users are now be able to freely browse the stacks, check out materials, and pick up holds during operating hours, our Patio Pickup service will have limited availability starting Wednesday, September 1st.
  • Physical course reserves services are available for materials that cannot be provided in an electronic format. If you are teaching a course, we encourage you to provide digital access to your course materials through Canvas whenever possible.

We are excited to welcome Montclair State students, faculty, staff and community members back into our stacks. As a reminder, the Library will be following all safety protocols established by the University and you must wear a face covering while browsing the stacks.

If you have any questions about accessing the materials you need, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
