Freshman Year – First Semester         

  • PSYC 101 – Introduction to Psychology – three credits 

Freshman Year – Second Semester

  • PSYC 203 – Research Methods – three credits

Sophomore Year – First Semester

  • PSYC 220 – Intro to Statistical Methods in Psychology – four credits
  • PSYC 300-level advanced elective (choose one from 300 level psychology course) – three credits

Sophomore Year – Second Semester

  • PSYC 301 – Experimental Psychology – four credits
  • PSYC 300-level elective (choose one from 300 level psychology course) – three credits

Junior Year – First Semester

  • STAT 442 Fundamentals of Modern Statistics II – three credits
  • Advanced Electives  (choose one from 300 level psychology courses) – three credits

Junior Year- Second Semester

  • STAT 481 Introduction to Statistical Data Mining – three credits   
  • Advanced Electives (choose one from 300 level psychology courses) – three credits
  • (GenEd requirements must be completed by end of this semester)
  • PSYC 491 (optional) – three credits

Senior Year- First Semester/First Year Master’s Program (note: this is considered the “double dip” semester)

PSYC 520 Human Experimental Psychology – four credits
PSYC 550 Quantitative and Statistical Methods – three credits
PSYC 663 Independent Research – three credits

Second Year Master’s Program – First Semester
Specialized Courses: Complete one to three courses from the following if not already taken: PSYC 552, 561,563, 565, 568, 573, 582,583, 659,  667,  670 or 504 – three to nine credits
Free Electives: Complete three to six semester hours from 500 level free electives – three to six credits

Second Year Master’s Program – Second Semester
Specialized Courses: Complete three to six semester hours from following if not already taken PSYC 552, 561, 563, 565, 568, 573, 582, 583, 659,  667, 670 or 504 – zero to six credits
