Initiation into Alpha Kappa Delta means you have been recognized for your academic achievement and your commitment to Sociology!
Membership is open to:
- Sociology Majors
- Sociology Minors
- Graduate students in the MA in Social Research and Analysis
If you meet the criteria on this page, you can apply in February or March. Watch your email for announcements at that time.
Once the application period begins, bring the following to the Sociology Office in Dickson 304:
- Your completed AKD Application Form
- $50 in cash, or a check made out to Cash (this is the National Initiation Fee)
- Printed copy of your Degree Works
