Dr. Wencang (Warren) Zhou

Dr. Wencang (Warren) Zhou is an associate professor in the Management Department at the Feliciano School of Business and is affiliated with the Feliciano Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation. His primary research interests reside in the organizational behavior perspective of entrepreneurship, especially on individual difference, entrepreneurial motivation, entrepreneurial teams, and shared leadership. His research has been published in some of the top entrepreneurship and management journals, such as Organizational Research Methods, International Entrepreneurship and Management Journal, International Journal of Entrepreneurial Behavior & Research, and International Journal of Cross-Cultural Management.

As an entrepreneurial professor, Dr. Zhou strives for new ways to engage students in the classroom. He has been teaching various courses at both undergraduate and MBA level, including Entrepreneurial Mindset, Organizational Behavior, Leadership, Negotiation, and Business Statistics.

Dr. Zhou received his Ph.D. in Business from the City University of New York in 2012, with a concentration in Organizational Behavior. He also got his Master in Management degree from Fudan University and B.S. degree from Peking University in China. Prior to his academic career in the United States, he worked in the banking industry in Shanghai, China for seven years.
