Certificate of Entrepreneurship

Want to highlight to employers that you have real-world skills to succeed in any career? The 9-credit Certificate of Entrepreneurship Certificate, comprised of three highly interactive and experiential three-credit courses, may be for you. The ENTR certificate courses are open to any undergraduate student of any major.

The certificate is earned after completing three, 3-credit courses: “Entrepreneurial Mindset and Innovation” (ENTR 201), “Creating Your Startup Business Model” (ENTR 301), and “Pitch and Launch Your Startup” (ENTR 302). In these three experiential courses, students form multidisciplinary teams and are charged with developing market-focused and solutions-oriented responses to real-world economic and social problems. A hallmark of ENTR 201 is a 45-minute interactive discussion with successful entrepreneurs from a variety of industries during some of the classes. In ENTR 301, the teams work with instructors and expert mentors while taking a deep dive into the business modeling and validation process. In ENTR 302, students learn how to market and sell their idea, product, business or nonprofit.

Students who complete all three courses will receive a Certificate of Entrepreneurship issued by the Feliciano Center for Entrepreneurship and the Feliciano School of Business.
