Larry DeGaetano has been an instructional specialist in the Accounting department since 2009. He teaches ENTR 310 “Entrepreneurial Accounting and Finance” for the Feliciano Center for Entrepreneurship. Since 1998, Larry has been a coach and judge/screener in the annual business plan competition of New York University’s Berkley Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation. Larry is also an adjunct assistant professor at Pratt Institute and a visiting professor at Keller Graduate School of Management.
A practitioner in accounting and financial services, Larry has experience in both new ventures as well as Fortune 100 corporations spanning: accounting / auditing; liquidity management; investment portfolio management; operations / IT; and the value of corporate social responsibility (CSR). Larry was previously an assistant VP at MetLife for 25 years, as well as other corporate positions. Larry has a BS in Accounting from Fordham University and an MBA in Finance from NYU’s Stern School of Business.
