Welcome to Montclair State University’s Red Hawk Advantage (RHA) Summer Bridge Program. The RHA program is designed to help incoming freshman transition to college by providing a strong academic foundation, individualized advisement, supportive learning environment, enrichment activities, and a stronger connection to the university. By participating in this program, you will be able to stay ahead while progressing to graduation.
Summer 2020 RHA Program:
We are pleased to announce that the RHA program will be held this summer to allow incoming students the opportunity to get a head start on their coursework. As a precautionary measure due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the RHA program will be held exclusively online.
Students who participate are able to:
- Earn three (3) college credits towards a degree by enrolling in the following class: WRIT 105 – College Writing (3 credits)
- Receive academic support: Meet with academic advisors and get daily tutoring in Writing.
- Experience college life: Develop a sense of what college level courses are like this summer to be well-prepared to take on courses in the fall.
- Form connections: Build relationships with faculty, staff, other students in the program, and the University community.
