Join us on Wednesday, January 22, for a professional development workshop featuring career and executive coach Tara Chiari presenting Building Your Authentic Personal Brand.

What’s your personal brand? How do people describe you when you leave the room and is it the narrative you want shared? Personal Branding is how you package yourself and communicate your unique skills and the value you bring to a team or company. It is a mix of how you present yourself and how others see you.

Building an authentic brand and taking control of it will position you to leave a lasting impression. A personal brand can open pathways to opportunities and boost your career velocity. This hands-on and engaging workshop will introduce you to personal branding and why it is essential to your career. A series of practical activities will guide you to define your individuality, focus on your values and clarify your purpose.

“By the end of this workshop, you will leave with a compelling Personal Brand Statement and a heightened sense of self-awareness towards Personal Image and Executive Presence that can empower you to take charge of your career momentum and stand-out while being at your best self,” states Chiari.

This workshop is designed for individuals from all positions and career paths who are professionally motivated to be more discoverable and memorable. Key highlights and takeaways are:

  • Identify and Articulate what differentiates you from the rest
  • Understand your unique strengths, core values and brand keywords
  • Create and Communicate your “brand statement”
  • Understand the power of Personal Image (dress for success) & Executive Presence

“As we start the new year, this is a great time for self-reflection and focusing in on your professional development,” says Jeanne Marano, Assistant Vice President for Annual Giving and Alumni Engagement. “We hope you will join us for this opportunity to learn key tools to build your unique brand statement.”
