Celebrating EOF Awareness Month at Montclair State

As a way to share the countless success stories of students who because of the Educational Opportunity Fund were able to attend college, April 9 has been designated EOF Awareness Day in the State of New Jersey. Montclair State is taking the awareness up a level and celebrating all of April as EOF Awareness Month.

One initiative to help grow the network and create connections is the launch the EOF Alumni and Community Advisory Board. The advisory board was formed to engage alumni and support initiatives of the EOF program that will benefit current and future EOF scholars and alumni. Alumni are welcome to join the kickoff meeting tonight, Wednesday, April 21, by registering online. All EOF alumni and friends are welcome to attend for the chance to network and meet the advisory board.

The Office of Alumni Engagement has also partnered with EOF to create the EOF Alumni Network in MONTCLAIRconnect. EOF alumni are invited to join the group to network with fellow grads, mentor current students, view recordings of EOF programs, and more. The EOF Alumni Network is just one of the many groups available in MONTCLAIRconnect. 1. Click Alumni and Friends sign on and select Alumni user type
2. Enter your email address and create a password
3. Verify your account for instant access (you will need your legal last name, class year and alumni ID number).
