Celebrating Rocky

Students, employees, friends and other university mascots surprise Rocky with a party for his birthday

Everyone’s favorite feathered friend got a big surprise on Wednesday, October 5 when hundreds of friends, including his mascot pals from other universities, surprised him with a party in the Student Center for his birthday.

Staff and students joined the mascots – and a couple of super heroes – for games in the ballrooms, where there were gift card giveaways, a balloon artist, an ice cream truck, lots of selfies and a chance for student clubs and organizations to be on hand to give out information to students looking for ways to get involved.
