Class of 1967 — 50th Reunion Recap

Congratulations to the Class of 1967 and thank you for celebrating with us on May 24 and 25, 2017!

Bravo and thank you to the members of Class of 1967 who participated in the May 2017 Reunion Celebrations!

A great time was had by all – whether participating the Cocktail Gathering at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, processing at the Undergraduate Commencement, or spending the day on campus with friends and classmates for Coffee and Conversation, the Luncheon and Campus tours. Smiling faces, handshakes and hugs were in abundance. Check out the photos and see for yourself.

More than 120 folks participated in the two day celebration. In all, 15 states were represented among the members of the Class of 1967 who attended the festivities on May 25. The states of California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Virginia and of course, New Jersey were represented.

Throughout the celebration, alumni enjoyed recalling campus life by looking through their yearbooks and joined together to sing the University’s Alma Mater before embarking on campus tours to witness the changes that have taken place since their days as students at Montclair State.

Special thanks to the Class of 1967 Reunion Committee:

  • Janet Cederlund Sisko
  • Catherine Lagatutta Del Colliano
  • Mark Kaelin
  • Jeanette Newby-Mills
  • Raffaela Vella Yurecko

These classmates spent months preparing, planning and reaching out to classmates via phone and email to encourage participation. Their commitment to making this a successful reunion was evident by the turn out and the enthusiasm shown by all during the two day event.

If you haven’t done so yet, we encourage you to make your Class of 1967 gift now. Your generosity will support the ambitious, determined students at Montclair State University as they work toward achieving their dreams, just as you once did. There is still time to make your gift or make an additional gift.

Again, thank you and congratulations to the class of 1967 for making your 50th Reunion a huge success!
