Introducing Hire a Red Hawk

We are excited to inform you about a transition that will enhance how you search for jobs, internships, and events that match your career interests. This fall, Career Services will be adopting a new career services management system called Hire a Red Hawk; an easy-to-use job/internship search tool and career planning resource that is being used by thousands of top employers looking to hire college students just like YOU!

Students

In mid-August, you will receive an invitation email from us to join Hire a Red Hawk, via your NEST account. The email will contain all the information you need to access your Hire a Red Hawk account.

Once you’ve activated your account, you will be able to:

  • Easily find and apply to jobs and internships that match your program of study and interests
  • Request a career counseling appointment with your designated Career Services Director
  • Manage your co-op or internship
  • Build your resume with Resume Builder and submit it for critique
  • Sharpen your interview skills with Mock Interviews
  • RSVP to on-campus interviews, employer information sessions, career fairs and workshops
  • Stand out to your favorite employers through a customized student profile
  • Network with recruiters and hiring managers to learn about job/internship opportunities, company culture, campus visits, and much more!

Alumni

In the near future, you will receive an invitation email from us to join Hire a Red Hawk. The email will contain all the information you need to access your Hire a Red Hawk account.

  • Network with recruiters and hiring managers to learn about career opportunities, company culture, campus visits, and much more!

Employers

Currently, the system is only set up to manage career events. We will notify you in the near future about when you can post jobs, manage resumes and applicants and participate in recruiting events at Montclair State University.  To register, visit https://montclair-csm.symplicity.com/employers/.

Coming soon, you will be able to:

  • Post jobs and co-ops/internships
  • Review and manage your qualified applicants
  • Extend offers to co-op/internship candidates
  • View resume books
  • Schedule on-campus interviews, workshops and information sessions
