Tutor Evaluations

When evaluated by students as well as by supervisors, tutors can become aware of areas where they could excel. This process will allow the Center to strengthen its services and programs and adjust the training accordingly.

The evaluation of tutors is a three-fold system:

CAST Evaluation – Tutors will be evaluated in the middle and end of the semester by the supervisor. This evaluation process offers the opportunity to discuss tutors’ accomplishments and present recommendations related to tutoring and learning support.

Tutor Evaluation – Tutors are expected to follow up on their students’ subject progress at the end of each semester.

Student Evaluation – Throughout the semester, students who have been tutored will evaluate their tutor’s performance. Tutors are required to encourage students to complete a Student-Tutor Evaluation form.
