Meaning After Loss Group

The impact of the death of a loved one, whether a parent, family member or friend, is beyond what anyone could ever imagine. You may feel like no one can possibly understand your experience or your emotions. This group hopes to change that.

This group is an opportunity to connect you with other students who have experienced a similar loss so that you can feel less alone in your grief and begin to move toward healing. We will learn what grief is, how to manage it, and how to move forward while still allowing yourself to honor your loved one with meaning.

Co-facilitators: Melissa Zarin and Ivonne De Pascual. Please email Melissa Zarin at zarinm@montclair.edu or call 973-655-7329 for more information or to schedule a pre-group screening.

This Support Group meets on Wednesdays, 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m..
