Koru Mindfulness

Koru is a four-class, evidence-based, program specifically designed for teaching mindfulness and meditation as a way to manage stress and reduce anxiety. Koru is open to all Montclair State students. Students will learn specific skills that help calm and focus your mind, including breathing exercises, guided imagery, body scan, and more!  CAPS will offer two Koru Basics classes this Fall semester. Participants must commit to all 4 sessions.

Class 1: Zoom on Thursdays, 11:30am-12:45pm

Dates: 10/13, 10/20, 10/27 and 11/3

Class 2: In-Person (Student Center Room 421) on Mondays, 11:30 a.m. – 12:45 p.m.

Dates: 11/7, 11/14, 11/21 an 11/28
