Networking before the Walk to Washington

I enjoyed stopping by the Verizon breakfast in Newark this morning before the Walk to Washington train left from Newark Penn Station. The annual state Chamber of Commerce’s train ride is a “who’s who” of powerful people in New Jersey, including politicians, business leaders, lobbyists, union officials, lawyers and accountants, and journalists.

The Verizon breakfast did not disappoint, with a room full of great people to network with. But my favorite people to mingle with today were these five Montclair State students, who performed during the breakfast.
