Larry DeGaetano

Larry DeGaetano has been an instructional specialist in the Accounting department since 2009. He teaches ENTR 310 “Entrepreneurial Accounting and Finance” for the Feliciano Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation. Since 1998, Larry has been a coach and judge/screener in the annual business plan competition of New York University’s Berkley Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation. Larry is also an adjunct assistant professor at Pratt Institute and a visiting professor at Keller Graduate School of Management.

A practitioner in accounting and financial services, Larry has experience in both new ventures as well as Fortune 100 corporations spanning: accounting / auditing; liquidity management; investment portfolio management; operations / IT; and the value of corporate social responsibility (CSR). Larry was previously an assistant VP at MetLife for 25 years, as well as other corporate positions. Larry has a BS in Accounting from Fordham University and an MBA in Finance from NYU’s Stern School of Business.
