Advanced AI for Teaching
On Mon, Aug 19, from 1–4pm, join us for an intensive hands-on workshop on using generative AI tools to advance student learning.

This intensive workshop will showcase techniques that instructors can use to leverage Gen AI tools for advancing student learning. The workshop will feature Dr. Weitian Wang’s talk “Montclair AI for Teaching and AI Education: Examples, Progresses, and Future Plans,” discussing the implications of AI for teaching and the landscape of AI education programming at Montclair. After that we will share a toolbox of prompts, sample assignments, and implementation strategies for helping students learn how to use Gen AI productively and ethically. Participants will have the opportunity to work independently or in groups to construct their own assignments or activities using our toolbox. OFE staff will be available to assist and provide feedback.
